NESMA, the National Electrical Switchboard Manufacturers Association,
has a strong Code Of Conduct belief in their representation for the industry:

1. Be professional, efficient and responsive in all dealings.

2. Observe the highest standard of honesty in all transactions.

3. Encourage new business by providing quality of service and product.

4. Research and develop new processes to enhance levels of safety in manufacturing and product use.

5. Actively support and uphold the dignity of Association membership.

6. Endeavour to create co-operation with fellow members.

7. Refrain from criticising other members.

8. When asked to manufacture to another member's drawings or specification, first consult with the member concerned.

9. Where existing operational boards require modification and or upgrade encourage the client to use the original manufacturer
to ensure the products integrity of operational service and safety.

10. Do not extend privileged information to non-members.

11. Encourage and foster training of staff.

12. Provide working conditions that promote employee safety and productivity.

13. Recognise and respect the Association and its constitution.

14. Act in the spirit of this code and encourage others to do likewise.

15. Report breaches of this code to the Association's governing committee.

16. Work toward maintaining and enhancing the reputation of NESMA and its members.

17. Display a copy of the Code of Conduct in the workplace and ensure all employees are aware of its provisions.

18. Follow and abide by the policies of the Association.
